No. Every site has some availability for walk in appointments every day. You may walk-in or call the health center in advance of your arrival. To contact your local health center and for more information, click here.
Our hours of operation are specific to each health center. Please click here for a complete list of hours of operation.
HHLI has an answering service to answer your calls when the practice is closed. For urgent issues, there is a provider on call to assist you. In case of emergency, please call 911.
The callers may dial into their preferred site’s main number and the call will be routed to our after hours answering service. Please see below for each site’s main number:
The caller will be presented with the option to select the location of their choice and the call will be routed over to that site. For example, “for Elmont, press 1”.
English and Spanish speaking health care staff is available at all sites. Most other languages are available via an audio translation service. A list of our health care providers and the languages the speak can be found here.
We serve children, adolescents and adults of all ages. We also provide pre-natal care in our Women’s Health division.

No proof of citizenship is required.

Yes, you will see the same designated care provider for each appointment. If your provider is unavailable, you will be given the opportunity to see another provider. A list of our providers, their areas of expertise and spoken languages can be found here.
