Harmony Healthcare Long Island (HHLI) provides essential care to more than 48,000 community members. But new legislation now threatens this lifeline—putting approximately 70,000 Long Islanders at risk of losing access to critical healthcare services. Many of those are our patients.
The need has never been greater.
Without Medicaid coverage, many New Yorkers (especially in our most vulnerable communities) will face even greater barriers to care. Despite these challenges, HHLI will never turn anyone away, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
HHLI remains committed to delivering primary and specialty care, mental health services, and life-saving medications, even when reimbursement isn’t guaranteed. But this promise comes with tremendous financial strain.
Healthcare is not a luxury—it’s a necessity.
